chapter 18 the federal court system outline answers
Line art is a form of drawing which uses the force of lines for a greater impact. It comprises of either curved or straight lines placed distinctly without change in levels of color or shade to create an impact of two or three dimensional figures. It is normally used to highlight the form and contours and in this shading, color and texture take second priority. In addition to the lines, this art form can also include dots or strong pigment areas. The entire set of lines comprising line art may be of equal width or some of them may be of equal widths or all may be of differing widths.
Line art which came into prevalence before photography is very much in vogue even today!
